Protocol templates can be set up and edited by users with the protocol template management permission. Contact your organisation superuser if you require permissions or changes to templates.
A template is a way of saving a generic protocol so that it can be used again or applied to multiple people. The template provides a starting point for the protocol, the fields can then be modified to the client and their specific needs.
A protocol template should be generic as it will be applied to multiple people, if it is just specific to one person then there is no need to create a template, just create an individual protocol.
To create a template
Templates are created in Recordbase by going to Administration and then Site Settings.
Select Protocol templates from the menu and select Add.
A blank protocol is displayed
The template name and description are the way in which you identify the template and what the template is used for. These are not part of the final protocol that is applied to a client.
Fill out the fields as required.
The last option allows you to assign the protocol template to a team. This allows the relevant protocol templates to be shown when creating a protocol for a client. A template must be assigned to at least one team but can be assigned to multiple.
Once you are happy with the template select Add template and the template will be available for users to use.
