How tos
Viewing and editing protocol templates
A template is a way of saving a generic protocol so that it can be used again or applied to multiple people. The template provides a starting point for the protocol, the fields can then be modified to the client and their specific needs.
A protocol template should be generic as it will be applied to multiple people, if it is just specific to one person then there is no need to create a template, just create an individual protocol.

Viewing and editing protocols
You can see a list of all the protocol templates (Administration | Site settings | Protocol templates) that have been created.
Each protocol template can be viewed by selecting View next to each template.
This displays all the details that have been entered for the template and what will be applied when the template is used to create a protocol.
From this page, you can also edit the details of the template by selecting Edit.
Note: Any changes made to a template will only affect protocols created in the future. Any existing protocols that used the template previously will be unchanged.
Make any changes you need and select Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.
On this screen, you can also Delete templates if they are no longer required.
