Protocols are a way to document a standard way of how to deal with situations arising when providing care events. A support worker can set up a protocol so that staff working with a client are aware of how to support the client with a task and minimise risks or issues.
If you have made a mistake and a protocol has been recorded against the wrong client or simply the wrong protocol has been recorded, you are able to delete it.

How to delete a protocol
To delete a protocol, select it to display the protocol details and select Edit.
On the edit screen, scroll to the bottom of the protocol and select the Delete option. Confirm that you want to delete the protocol.
This will remove it from the list of current protocols and will not display on the dashboard, however, you can view protocols that have been deleted in the list of protocols by selecting the Deleted option.
If you made a mistake and deleted a protocol accidentally, if you select View next to the protocol and view the details, there is an option to Restore the protocol.
