Recordbase is a secure application housing a wealth of personal and sensitive information. To safeguard this valuable data, Recordbase has integrated multiple security measures for protection.
Audit trail
When you are signed in, everything you do is tracked for audit purposes. This includes the
details of where you signed in from, any records you have accessed and any changes you have
made. This enables your organisation to periodically review your activity within Recordbase for
procedural and/or policy compliance. As such, you must take all possible measures to keep your user account secure.
Shhh..account details
Like your Internet banking password or bank card PIN, it is important that you don't give
your user account details to any other persons, inside or outside of your organisation. To do so
puts you at risk. If you have given your account details to other people, any changes they make
will be directly attributed to you, so it's very important to keep your user account secret and
secure.
Please note: Wild Bamboo will never ask you for your password.
Password requirements
Recordbase will ensure that your password meets minimum strength requirements as a security precaution when setting your password. Additionally, make sure your password is
something that could not be easily guessed by anyone known to you.
Account breaches
In the event you suspect someone is using your account without authority, notify your internal
Recordbase user champion immediately. If they are not available, contact Wild Bamboo support
with your details so your account can be immediately locked, and password reset.
Signing out
Closing your web browser is not equivalent to signing out of Recordbase. Always ensure that you have securely signed out when you are done working.
