Creating an outbound referral

There are 2 ways that you can create an outbound referral.

The first one is in the discharge screen if you are discharging the client from your service.

  • Select the client and click on the Referrals tab
  • Highlight the appropriate referral and click View.
  • Click Discharge.
  • Select the refer-out radio button.

 

This process is typically used during the discharge or closure of referrals for a client.

The other option is creating an outbound referral whilst the client is still within service.

  • Select the client and click on the Referrals tab.
  • From the Referrals tab click New Outbound Referral.
