How tos
Creating a new referral
A referral in Recordbase represents a person that has been referred to your organisation so that you can provide services to them. A client may have one or more referrals, depending on the number of services your organisation provides and the requirements of the client.

Referrals are also how clients get created in Recordbase.

Depending on if the client is a new or existing client you have two options on how to enter a referral.
- For new clients, you need to use the new referral wizard.
- For existing clients, you can either use the new referral wizard or the new inbound referral option on the referral page
