Collaborate

Incidents can be shared with other Recordbase users. By default, the incident will only be accessible by the Originator, Investigator and Reporter. You can only share incidents until such time the incident hasn't been completed by the reporter.

Only the investigator or reporter can share an incident with other Recordbase users. Incidents can be shared with others for a specific time frame as well as specifying whether they should be able to add notes and/or attachments.

  • In the Health and safety tab, find and open the incident (if not already open)
  • Click Collaborate from the left-hand side menu.
  • Click New.
  • In the User box, start typing the first three characters of either the first or last name of the user that you want to share the incident with; a list of matching results will appear.
  • Enter data into at least the mandatory fields.
  • Click Save.
  • The user will now be listed in the Active section on the Collaborate screen.
  • Repeat the steps above to add more users.
  • Details can be modified by clicking the Edit button.
