Wild Bamboo is proud to announce the release of Recordbase 5.27.
We've been doing a lot of work under the hood of Recordbase to eliminate those pesky bugs and adding in some nifty enhancements to increase the performance of this fine-tuned machine (well, software).
We have also been working on some large projects in the background the last few months that we have all been pretty excited about. We have included all the juicy details in our new-look Wild Bamboo newsletter coming to an inbox near you - so keep an eye out for this.
As with all Recordbase releases, this upgrade is free of charge. You will be upgraded automatically by the Wild Bamboo team, which will require a small out-of-hours outage. We have received a number of requests from organisations wanting to record person interactions. A person interaction is something that happened in the client's life, but which you weren't necessarily involved in. For example, certain funders want to know when a service user last visited their GP - and even though you weren't part of that interaction between client and GP, you may still want to know about it.
Although recording GP visits was the primary driver for this new feature, we think there may be other situations, milestones, or interactions that you may want to record for clients. Therefore, we decided to build the functionality that could easily be configured to capture any sort of person interaction that matters to your organisation.
