Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) Coming to Recordbase
MFA is being enabled on 2 June 2026 – learn what to expect
Important Update: MFA Enablement
To improve security, Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) will soon be enabled for all Recordbase users.
When is this happening?
MFA will be enabled on: 2 June 2026
After this date, all users will be required to complete an additional verification step when signing in.
What Will Change?
When you sign in to Recordbase:
- Enter your usual login details
- Enter a 6‑digit code from an authenticator app
This extra step helps protect your account and your organisation’s data.
What You Need to Do
Install an Authenticator App
We recommend: Microsoft Authenticator
Other authenticator apps may also work.
Be Ready to Set Up MFA
The first time you sign in after MFA is enabled:

You’ll be guided through a quick one‑time setup

This involves scanning a QR code and entering a code
Setup takes about 1 minute
What Happens After Setup?
After your first sign‑in:
- You will not need to set anything up again
- Each time you sign in, you’ll simply enter a 6‑digit code
Important Information
- You must have access to your authenticator app to sign in
- Without it, you will not be able to access Recordbase
- If you lose access, your
- Recordbase Superuser/Admin can reset your MFA
